Where Voxline stands today

Voxline is capped at 100 users while it grows, and access is invite-based. It runs on standard hosting with a single developer (me) able to access the underlying database for debugging, and it hasn't been through a formal security audit yet. Treat it accordingly — genuinely useful to try, but not yet the place for your most sensitive information.

What gets stored, and for how long

• Your voice score, traits, and style guide — kept so Voxline can draft in your voice next time. The raw writing sample you paste to generate it is not kept — it's used once for the analysis and then discarded.
• Comments you paste to draft a reply to, and the drafts themselves — kept for 7 days, then the text itself is deleted.
• Feedback you give (thumbs up/down, any comment) — kept longer than the comment/draft it was on, so usage trends can be studied over time. The original comment and draft text are still removed after 7 days either way; only the feedback signal itself (not what it was about) is retained past that point.

Who else sees this data

• Anthropic (Claude API) processes your writing sample and comments to generate scores and drafts, under Anthropic's own API data-handling terms.
• TypeSafe (the Jev API) briefly scores the tone of comments you paste, as a moderation check, and does not receive your voice profile.
• Supabase hosts the database. Standard access controls apply; as the developer, I can technically query this data for debugging.

The Chrome extension

Voxline's browser extension is another way to reach the same account and backend described above — it doesn't collect or handle data any differently. The extension itself never reads or modifies the page you're on; it only sends whatever comment text you paste into its popup, over a signed-in connection to your own Voxline account, the same way the web app does.

Please don't paste

Real full names paired with contact details, financial account numbers, health information, government ID numbers, or anyone else's private messages without their consent. If a comment you want to reply to contains someone else's sensitive information, consider paraphrasing it first.

Your controls

You can delete all of your stored data at any time from the dashboard. If you'd like your account removed entirely, email me and I'll take care of it.
